The Witcher 3 E3 footage shows five minutes of griffon hunting action

Boom, this is what we want: Hot Witching! Is that the correct term for a five-minute, unbroken look into how The Witcher 3 will play? Doesn't matter, it is now. From the Microsoft E3 conference, CD Projekt RED take us on a mission to kill a pesky Griffon.

At the start, we get a look at the crossbow previously teased in a secret message found at the end of the last Witcher 3 trailer . After that, Geralt comes across a band of naughty deserters, before finally tackling his quarry.

It's looking extremely good—a fluid combat system, system driven encounters, and long, sassy stares. Everything you want from a giant RPG.

The Witcher 3 is due out February 24, 2015. Can't wait.

"MORE E3," you shout. "Calm down," we reply. You'll find all our coverage here .
