Finding a cheap gaming chair deal can make it a lot easier to take the plunge. A lot of people feel apprehensive about purchasing one, which is crazy because a good one is life-changing for anyone who plays a lot of games… Or works from home… Or just sits a lot. Moreover, gaming chairs don’t go on sale as steadily and predictably as other PC gaming peripherals: If you wait long enough, you will definitely get a good deal on the best mechanical keyboard or the best wireless gaming mouse, but a good, cheap gaming chair deal is harder to come by. It pays to play the field until you find the right chair at the right price.

Of course that’s why we’re here. Keeping an eye on things to save you some time in this all important pursuit of comfort and lumbar support. Even though the price went up a bit, we still recommend you at least consider checking out SecretLab Omega, it’s one of the best gaming chairs in our book, and almost $100 dollars off.

1. Secretlab Omega

Our favorite gaming chair in 2019

Seat type: Racing seat | Recline: 165 degrees | Weight capacity: 240 lbs | Weight: 66 lbs | Available colors: Stealth, Classic, Amber, Royal, Ash

Comfy and understated design
Great tilt mechanism
Well priced
Tough to build

Few gaming chairs can mix both style and comfort, but the Omega does just that. It's shaped to support every part of your back, and the additional lumbar pillow and headrest mean that you can get whatever support you need while sitting in a chair that not only classes up a gaming set-up, but also sits very comfortably in an office environment too.

What's more the controls feel both well-made and easy to use. Some chairs save money in the plastic parts on the arm-rests and levers, but the ones on the Omega feel sturdy and easy enough to push into place. In fact, once you've actually put the chair together (get a friend to help) it all feels very solid and well crafted. The Omega itself is probably a little expensive at full price, but Secretlab often reduces the price by about $100/£100, so this is the ideal time to pick one up.

If you want to spend a little more money, the Softweave version is very plush, and adds an extra layer of cushioning to the chair. It makes a pleasing difference.

2. Noblechairs Hero

The best luxury option, beautiful and tasteful

Seat type: Racing seat | Recline: 135 degrees | Weight capacity: 265 lbs | Weight: 62 lbs | Available colors: Black, Brown beige, Brown black, White

Luxurious and comfortable
Well designed
Tasteful colors
Expensive

While similar in shape and design to the Omega, the Noblechairs Hero is designed to offer a little firmer support, which can actually benefit your back and posture. Again, this would be perfect for anyone looking to combine their gaming rig with a more standard working environment, because it looks like a nice piece of furniture. The Hero truly feels like a luxury item, and would look as at home in a professional office setting as parked in front of your killer gaming PC.

The Epic comes in a variety of tasteful colors too, something that many gaming chairs should take note of, and all the trimmings feel well made and worth the money. There's a lovely, precise tilt mechanism here to help you recline, and good support for both neck and lumbar. A nice chair, if you can afford it or find a decent deal.
