From one successful PC Gamer alumni to another. Owen Hill - former PCG web editor, current Mojang word man, and secret Yordle - is hosting the new Radio Cobalt, a video podcast dedicated to explaining the Mojang published 2D arcade shooter. Talking to the game's developers, Oxeye Game Studios, this first episode provides a quick overview of the scope and breadth of the action.

Mojang's Mojam, the charity game making competition, has come to an end. Teams had three days to make a game themed around a choice of words from a list including Nuclear, French, Endless, War, Kittens, Spaceship and Pizza. As a result, a game called Nuclear Pizza War now exists. Still, at least we've avoided Endless Kitten Pizza. That would just be bleak.
Mojang isn't just about Minecraft and The Elder Scrolls any more. This autumn, Team Notch is dipping its toes into publishing with Oxeye Game Studios' quirky platformer Cobalt. We had a chat with studio head Daniel Brynolf to find out what will make his little robot star so attractive* to the indie world.
