The Envoy is the Ancient God’s secret weapon on Tya who fuels the Tides of Darkness and seeks to prepare the world to be destroyed.
This story is explored through the relationships and actions among the game’s 8+ different factions. As a commander, players can collect and upgrade over 100 different heroes each with unique capabilities. Strategy is a key aspect to the game as each hero's strengths and weaknesses can have different impacts on the battles. Each faction is also uniquely designed to work well together,so collecting specifically lord heroes in a faction will have a significant advantage in the same faction.
Finding the right combination of heroes is critical to surviving the different game modes within WoR. EXP Raids, Gear Raids, Promotion Raids, and more all offer the chance to find rare collectables and upgrade heroes to unlock new abilities. There is also a Tides mode where players have to survive waves of enemies by strategically deploying their heroes to successfully defend the city and Guild Boss fights offer the chance to take on epic bosses with help from other guild members.
WoR also brings massive PvP battles to the RPG space in an original tower defense gameplay.
