Best Cyber Monday PC gaming deals in Australia for 2023: Here are all the best

Cyber Monday deals

After what feels like the loooongest Black Friday season yet, the mayhem continues today with Cyber Monday. It's not exactly the best known bargain holiday in Australia—it pales in comparison to Black Friday and EOFY sales—but it's still a great opportunity to grab a deal: especially if you missed out last week.

Because of its relative obscurity in this region, Cyber Monday deals in Australia tend to be what remains from the Black Friday feeding frenzy. A lot of the deals we found last week are still good today, especially if you're after peripherals like keyboards, mice and headsets. Gaming monitors are also very popular.

Towards those ends, see below the best Cyber Monday PC gaming deals in Australia for 2023.

Lenovo Legion 5i Pro | i7 / 32GB RAM / 512GB SSD / RTX 3070 Ti GPU | AU$4,937.90 AU$1,999 at Lenovo eBay

Here a great deal this Cyber Monday. The RTX 3070 Ti is a strong gaming GPU, while a 12700H and 32GB of RAM mean this is a unit you'll be able to use for years to come. That lovely 2560 x 1600 165Hz screen deserves a shoutout too. This unit was a lot more expensive a year back. Don't forget to add the BF20AU code to bring it down to its final AU$1,999 price

Gigabyte Aero 16 4K OLED | i7-12700H / RTX 3070 Ti / 32GB / 1TB SSD |AU$4,799AU$2,388 at JW Computers

<a href="https://t.cfjump.com/14042/t/76331?UniqueId=hawk-custom-tracking&Url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jw.com.au%2Fproduct%2Fgigabyte-aero-16-4k-i7-12700h-32gb-1tb-3070ti" data-link-merchant="jw.com.au"">Gigabyte Aero 16 4K OLED | i7-12700H / RTX 3070 Ti / 32GB / 1TB SSD | AU$4,799 AU$2,388 at JW Computers (save AU$2,411)

The gorgeous 4K OLED screen of this Gigabyte model really stands out, but it hardly lacks in any other area for this price. The RTX 3070 Ti is still a strong gaming GPU, while its 32GB of RAM and i7 processor give it plenty of grunt for any game, work or study task you want to throw at it. Its got dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and weighs in at 2.3KG so it can be carried around without too much difficulty.

MSI Vector GP68HX (12VH-028AU)| i9-12900HX / RTX 4080 / 16GB / 1TB SSD |AU$3,149 at eBay

<a href="https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/175762524736?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=705-53470-19255-0&campid=5338048699&customid=hawk-custom-tracking" data-link-merchant="ebay.com.au"" target="_blank">MSI Vector GP68HX (12VH-028AU)| i9-12900HX / RTX 4080 / 16GB / 1TB SSD | AU$3,149 at eBay

This is a great deal for a laptop with RTX 4080 graphics. Its 12th Gen 12900HX CPU is more than enough to keep this one purring along in games. It's got Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 support so this can easily function as a desktop replacement, while at 2.67KG it's not too heavy to be carried around either. Don't forget to add the BF20AU code to bring it down to its AU$3,149 price.

MSI GF63 Thin (12VF-435AU) | i5-12450H / 16GB / 512GB SSD / RTX 4060 |AU$1,399AU$1,274 at Amazon

<a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8432&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com.au%2FMSI-Thin-GF63-12VF-435AU-15-6-Inch%2Fdp%2FB0C38BC1BP%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-22%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-22" data-link-merchant="Amazon AU"" target="_blank">MSI GF63 Thin (12VF-435AU) | i5-12450H / 16GB / 512GB SSD / RTX 4060 | AU$1,399 AU$1,274 at Amazon (save AU$125)

This MSI including an RTX 4060 graphics card for just AU$1,274 is a cracker of a deal. The 12th gen CPU isn't the latest and greatest but that has little impact for gaming. You get 16GB of RAM and a 144Hz IPS-level 1920 x 1080 screen. It's highly portable too, weighing in at just 1.86KG. It offers great bang for your buck.

MSI Bravo 15 (C7UCX-235AU)| Ryzen 5 7535HS / 8GB / 512GB SSD / RTX 2050 | AU$1,399AU$888 at Bing Lee

Value for money is key with this six-core laptop. The RTX 2050 (really an underclocked RTX 3050) is enough to play popular games at 1080p while its Ryzen 7000-series CPU has enough grunt for demanding tasks. This one's a good cheapie all-rounder. Throw in a bit of RGB and it's one the kids will love to unwrap at Christmas.

Here's a substantial AU$1,380 off a gaming lappy sporting some very attractive specs. There's a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor under the hood complimented by a powerful RTX 4070 GPU, with a 16 inch 2560x1600 WQXGA display with HDR 400 support. There's a big 1TB SSD in there too.

Lenovo's Gen 8 Legion Pro 5i gets a generous AU$1,150 cut as part of Lenovo's premature Black Friday shenanigans. The specs are good at this price: a 13th Gen Core i7 processor, an Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a 16-inch display with anti-glare technology. The 1TB SSD means you can install more than a handful of modern blockbuster games at once.

It's pretty hard to argue that this Gigabyte 27-incher is great value for money at under AU$200. It's not some bland office affair either. It's got a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time so in terms of gaming, it'll be a big step up from a basic 60Hz screen. It's got 3x display inputs, built in speakers and a pair of USB ports too. Its curved design adds that bit of immersion.

A welcome 25% off this Alienware IPS panel, which is still one of the best gaming monitors of all. It has a lot going for it: amazing contrast and colours, great HDR functionality, and G-Sync Ultimate to boot. Its an ultrawide affair, QHD, with a 175Hz refresh rate and a very strong aesthetic.

Amazon is currently offering a nice discount on the ticket price of the Alienware workhorse. It's a QHD (2560x1440) affair with a smooth 165Hz refresh rate (180Hz overclocked) and 1ms response time. Support for FreeSync and G-Sync. There's a bit of confusion about its RRP: earlier this week it was displayed as AU$799.70, but now it's displayed as AU$639. That's not as good a deal, but it's still, y'know, a deal.

A great price for a big 21:9 1440p display, with a respectable refresh rate of 160Hz and a 1ms response time. Also boasts HDR10 and FreeSync Premium. Under AU$500 for a display of this size and smoothness is a good catch, if you're not wanting to spend over a grand on a screen with noticeably better specs.

This monitor is already on the budget side—considering the specs—without a discount, so carving AU$170 off the RRP makes it more attractive for folk who want a big wide 34 inch QHD screen with a 160Hz refresh rate. That combo aside makes it noteworthy at this price point, despite its other limitation. It's a VA panel with FreeSync support.
