Claptrap presents a guide to Borderlands 3's Pandora

Borderlands 3 will send vault hunters across space and to various worlds, but the series mainstay, Pandora, will still be around. Gearbox has put together a video showing off the vibrant wildlife inhabiting the dusty world, all waiting to be riddled with bullets. And Claptrap. Mostly Claptrap.

Over on the Borderlands 3 Pandora page, it's described as an inhospitable world and the current home of the Children of the Vault.

A barely-habitable rock that the Children of the Vault have made their homeworld. Pandora's searing-hot deserts, vicious wildlife, and burgeoning bandit population have proved too much for all who have tried to tame the planet and exploit its resources. The ruins of Dahl, Atlas, and Hyperion facilities litter the landscape, inhabited by all manner of Skags, Rakk, Varkids, and Spiderants that are intent on eating and killing you. Usually in that order.

If you've played the other Borderlands, you'll be familiar with it already, though obviously you'll also be fighting new beasties and visiting different locations, like the Children of the Vault's intimidating base.

With the recent free Borderlands 2 DLC, I took a trip back to Pandora myself and fell into Gearbox's trap. I was pretty ambivalent about Borderlands 3, but playing its predecessor again reminded me what a great time it is with some buddies in tow. So I guess I'll be playing Borderlands 3, then.

It's due out on September 13.
