The ARVN update adds the Army of the Republic of Vietnam to the five currently playable factions. The ARVN was the main force South Vietnamese force during the Vietnamese war. It was highly noted for its extraordinary combat abilities, and was a vicious opposing force to the Viet Cong.

Its Weapons

In combat, the ARVN relied heavily upon US weaponry. To reflect this in the content update, the ARVN is able to use iconic US arms including the M1 Garand, Thompson m1A1 SMG, the M1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle, and the M1919A6 .30-cal Browning LMG. In addition, it has access to the Douglas A-1 Skyraider ground-attack aircraft.
