PayDay 2 studio Overkill has revealed a few morsels of information regarding its forthcoming take on The Walking Dead series. During a Reddit AMA, producer Almir Listo addressed some questions regarding the project, which will be the third The Walking Dead video game adaptation in as many years, joining Telltale's serialised adventure drama and Activision's FPS stinker.

PayDay studio Overkill Software is preparing to announce something

PayDay developer Overkill Software has posted a big counter on its website. It's more than a month until we find out what it's counting down to, which suggests something significant. What could it be? Well, it's going to be a video game, probably. Hopefully it's not just more PayDay 2 content, or a big song and dance about the PS4 and Xbox One editions of that game, because that's not very signficant.

Syndicate devs developing Storm, a co-op sci-fi FPS

Phil Savage at

Syndicate and Chronicles of Riddick developer Starbreeze Studios recently updated their website, posting details of an upcoming, and previously unanounced, sci-fi shooter, titled Storm. Details are extremely limited for now, with the game's page saying only, "Currently in development. Co-op Sci Fi FPS. It is our future." There's also a picture. It shows pipes, gantries and a complete lack of any other defining features.

The Sunday Video Pwn

It's been a few days at least since we showed Minecraft any love, so this week's headlining video is from our favourite excavating game. Here, with some mod trickery, you can see just what Minecraft would look like if played after ingesting Lysergic acid diethylamide. It's a nauseating experience, so view on a clean stomach and do not attempt to eat or drink during the viewing experience. I genuinely have no idea why on earth you'd want to play with this mod on, but it certainly makes Minecraft's world look even more mind-bending than it does at current. Looking at the sculptures on the PC Gamer Minecraft server genuinly fills me with awe; it's incredible to see what some of you guys have crafted. It does make me wonder though, if players were armed with THIS, what kind of elements they could mine and build stuff with.
