King of Fighters XIII Steam Edition gets a trailer, despite no official announcement

Phil Savage at

I'm starting to think of Steam as a giant warren through which millions of people are crawling. In the writhing mass of bodies, somebody will eventually dig their way into a secret tunnel, and the rest will follow to see what's hidden inside. SNK Playmore's 2D beat-'em-up King of Fighters XIII had already been unearthed alongside a giant list of Steam Database entries. That revelation was dampened by the fact that the Steam Database isn't the most accurate signifier of upcoming releases. This discovery is more promising: a trailer on the Steam video page for a PC release of the game.

Guacamelee: Gold Edition wrestles onto Steam next week

Before a game is given its official PC reveal, it exists in my head as part of a dull grey memory pool, where things I've briefly noticed congeal together into a mess of half-ignored recollections. For instance, I've only now realised that Guacamelee! is a pun - and not just food with an exclamation mark - and that the game isn't just about punching, but also dimension jumping and chicken transforming. The reason for my new found attention? It's coming to PC next week.

Ouya title TowerFall is coming to PC with new content

If there's one Ouya title we wanted to see break free from the confines of console exclusivity, it was TowerFall—and hey, it looks like we just might have got our wish! Matt Thorson, developer of the bouncy, pixelly, multiplayer-brawly thing, has tweeted that a PC version is indeed in development—and it's going to include new content, too.

Zeno Clash 2 trailer shows new gameplay footage, magic, and punching

Pay no attention to the living display of modern art seen above. Zeno Clash 2 is still all about knocking the stuffing out of weird humanoids, a theme that originated in the first surrealistically fun brawler back in 2009. Well, OK, Mr. Paint-Lip above qualifies as weird enough to send my fist right into that bulbous bullseye of a nose, but that's not the only interesting takeaway from the latest gameplay trailer drop-kicked over by Chilean developer ACE Team.
