Try Forsaken World - It's a perfect world knock-off but it's pretty well rounded for being in BETA.

Unlike most MMO where you just auto-attack and spam hot bar button to win, Vindictus is a F2P MMO that is unlike any other. Even compared to AAA single player games, its combat depth is unmatched amongst action RPGs on PC. It's the only F2P MMO I've ever liked (and I've tried a lot... for research. XD)

By any chance did you just copy-paste an ad from them lol :P

EDIT: Bah Nexon and their server upgrades I'll have to wait to try Vindictus.

It's a third person shooter RPG set in a sci-fi world. It's a lot of fun solo but a different game once you team.

That's another good MMO but you will burn through the content fast enough. It's need more challenging quest and bosses.

Champions Online is brilliant and there's no real catches to the free-to-play with it either, you get the option to buy aesthetic costume parts, powers and travel powers as well as adventures but you can play the thing for free.

Spiral Knights is really good too, as is Alliance of Valiant Arms all three are on Steam as well.

Or there's always Guild Wars, you pay for the game once and then you can play as much as you like without any subscription costs.

Try out champions online its only a 3.5gb download so if you don't like it not a big deal. the character creator is fantastic and the game is pretty fun IMO. i haven't played it much but i like it.

Third person as in you click on a target then click a "fire" button and it does it itself or third person shooter sort of like Fallout 3?

Spiral Knights is awesome, so much fun. One con however is that energy recharges slowly and can easily be used up in an hour or two, even less if you do any of the crafting required to gear up.
