At least you chose what looks like a Shell rig, rather than a BP one.

Nothing worse than oil leaking in your rig.

<edit> I'm just about to build a new rig of my own, nothing very powerful or flashy, but I'll try to get a pic of it up here of it when I'm done

My room is awfully dark (due to my stupid choice of dark colours, several years back), so it's very hard to get naturally lit photos, hence the nasty looking flash. Even so, the guts of my PC are no longer that impressive, I thought I'd also include the somewhate more lovely items around my desk.

Specs are:

Q6600 @3GHz w/ Scythe Mugen Cooler
4GB DDR2 800MHz OCZ RAM
8800GT @700MHz
Gigabyte P35C-DS3R
Corsair HX520
~1.5TB of storage
Antec P182 SE
24" DGM Monitor

For anyone interested in audio:

Cambridge Audio DACMagic
CA Azur 550A
Wharfedale 10.1s

Liking the wharfedales Davik. I used to have the 9.1's. Fantastic sound for the price. I've got the Opus2 - 1's running on a Roksan Kandy MKIII at the moment. Lovely =)

Do I also spot a Hidden & Dangerous 2 mug and a Wacom Intuos there?

Yeah, got the Intuos A5 Wide Special Edition last year. I've never played Hidden and Dangerous (or H&D 2, in this case) but I was given the mug as a prize at the PCG Showdown, back in 2008. It's generally a desk tidy nowdays.

As for speakers, those must sound incredible! I got this whole system in one go, moving from some Logitech 5.1s - the difference is mind blowing, though moreso for music than games.

Very jealous of your speakers and amp! Do you run straight from the soundcard into the Amp, of have you got an external DAC?

If you look further up, I ended up with the Hidden & Dangerous 2 PC from this competition. That's your mug right there! They kept it, and the watch! (not that I can grumble =). And no, I can't say I've played it either!

I do have it coming from the soundcard straight into the amp but it's a very high quality cable and I have every processing effect turned off. No EAX, CMSS 3D or anything.

And I'm jealous of the Intuos! Never had the guts to shell out for a tablet. Bet it's great for Photoshop. =)
