Default 5.2 GHz i7-3960X = World's Fastest Chess Computer

Won the title of Fastest Chess Computer in the world with this rig in February 2012.

It even beats my 5.8 GHz i7-980X rig, in fact, it would have outperformed an i7-980X even if it was running at 6.0 GHz.

Article about winning the fastest chess title:

    Default New Build 3D Surround

My Eyefinity broke, I've been wanting Triple 120Hz monitors for 1 year now prices have come down some. So I've switched to NVIDIA 3D Vision build.

I see you have an 850W PSU but won't two GTX-580s pull 600W total? That's only leaving you with 250W for the rest of the box. Getting very close to a signal-to-noise-ratio that will lead to intermittent BSODs and restarts.

I used this link -> Thermaltake PSU Wattage Calculator. This Calc has everything you can think of covered. I loaded everything the box has including my 5 USB devises.....I'm safe at 850W

My other system I used Thermotake 1200W PSU that one I had Triple Crossfire ATI 5970 on Water + 5870 on air, tons of lights, Water Cooling, 3 HD's, 2 Opitcals I wasn't taking any chances and went with biggest PSU at the time.

Where did the 300w info come from?
