Default Which gives better clarity. DVI or HDMI?

    Hi all,
so I got my Dell U2713HM 27" monitor & it comes with a DVI cable. Do I go with that or with my HDMI cable & which gives better clarity at the higher resolutions please?
    Thanks

They produce the same picture quality pretty much, but some claim they can notice slight differences, so you can always try it & see. Otherwise:

DVI = passes video signal only

HDMI = passes video & audio signal

ok thanks for that. Also to add I found the HD cable only allowed 1080p maximum, whereas the packaged DVI cable allows 2560 x 1440 which looks awesome but demands a lot from my GTX 680
