Looks like Blizzard decided to slip in the nerf lists as everyone was updating.

Should make things slightly easier I suppose.

    Dungeons & Raids
    The Bastion of Twilight
    •Ascendant Council
•The Elementium Monstrosity can be attacked from farther away than was previously the case.
•The damage dealt by Liquid Ice has been increased significantly.
•The damage dealt by Electric Instability on normal difficulty has been reduced slightly.
•Immunity effects will no longer cancel Gravity Crush.
•Gravity Crush no longer hits additional targets on Heroic difficulty.
•Frozen Orbs now despawn at the start of phase 3 on Heroic difficulty.
    •Cho'gall
•The recast time on Depravity has been increased in 10-player mode.
    •Halfus Wyrmbreaker
•Shadow Nova is now cast less frequently in 10-player modes to account for fewer available interrupts there.
•The captured drakes in this encounter now apply Dragon's Vengeance when they are killed instead of when they are freed. To account for this change, the health and damage of the drakes has been reduced, and the damage bonus gained from Dragon's Vengeance has been increased.
    •Valiona and Theralion
•Immunities no longer port players out of the Twilight Realm.
•The damage dealt by Twilight Sentries on Heroic difficulty has been reduced.

    Blackwing Descent
•Atramedes will now go berserk after 10 minutes on Heroic difficulty.
    •Magmaw
•Blazing Bone Constructs on Heroic difficulty no longer drop fire periodically.
•Blazing Bone Constructs on Heroic difficulty have had their health reduced.
•Magmaw's health on Heroic difficulty has been reduced.
    •Maloriak
•Increased the cast time of Release Aberrations.
•Heroic: Decreased the health of the Vile Swill by 15%.
•Heroic: Dark Sludge can now only target players.
    •Nefarian
•The Chromatic Prototypes featured in the second phase of this encounter now wait longer before casting their first Blast Nova.
•The Stolen Power enhancement gained in Heroic difficultydifficulties now increases all damage and healing for a set time, but each attack is increased by a smaller amount. This change will not be reflected in the tooltip until a later patch.
•Freeing one's mind from Dominion now grants a movement speed bonus for a short time.
    •Omnotron Defense System
•There is now a 10-minute berserk timer on Heroic difficulty.
•Golem health has been reduced on Heroic difficulty.
•The damage dealt by Incineration Security Measure has been reduced.

I thought as much. I'm sure we can squeeze you in, if you get on a little early.

    Default Leader's Report

    The Intrepid Epiccers: As above

Bosses Killed: Halfus [achievement - GUILD FIRST], Valiona & Theralion, Ascendent Council, Omnitron, Magmaw, Maloriak, Chimaeron, Atramedes

A typical Team Epic loot farm - lots of dead bosses, sod all loot. In fairness, Thunderlash got plenty, and most of us are only searching for one or two upgrades now. Welcome to Slashgordon in his first Team Epic raid; our focus now is gearing him up to the same level as the rest of the team for tackling the hardest content.

On Sunday we'll do Lolclave, Lol'Akir and then Lol'Gall, if I think we have the team to handle it.

I'm really pleased with where we are, as a team. Slash's presence gives us some much-needed flexibility, and once Foos get his interwebs sorted and Chewwie gets his mojo back, we'll be unstoppable. Almost.

I realise that there are bits and bobs floating around this forum about raid times, consumables, rosters and shit, so I'm going to delete them all and post a 'Team Epic Policy', which will include everything.

Once I get geared enough for it to be worth it, Foos and I will need to have a thumb war, or some other form of manliness competition in order to determine who gets Dark Intent

According to recent mage maths haste is the best stat for fire mages now people have done some work calculating the effects of ignite munching. This appears to make mage armor a viable option for fire if you are concerned about mana. since the scorch on the move talent now works with any armor.

EDIT: I have gotten to the bottom of the mage rankings for DPS on Cho'Gall.

As mages have one of the games harder hitting spells, namely pyroblast, they are stacking to 100 corruption early. They are then gifted with double damage instant cast pyroblasts, but are unhealable. The top mage DPSers are getting all kinds of damage reducing cooldowns from healers to deal with this. The general uptime of the debuff from 100 corruption is about 50% of the fight, with most mages lasting a fair way into the final phase.

It might be advantageous for us to select a caster DPS to do this, as whoever has the 100 stacks will put out some pretty big DPS numbers. We do have the option of priesty cooldowns, hand of sac and personal cooldowns to sustain that person during the final phase. Darieth being Disc would be essential to this tactic, as although whoever is at 100 stacks is unhealable, they are not unshieldable.

So basically - start the fight. Zerne stands in bad stuff until about 80-90 corruption. He is healed to full. He stands in more bad stuff when we are ready for pewpew DPS, receiving PW:S, hand of sac, PW:barrier and pain suppression if big raid damage is flying around.
