Lightbulb The Definitive 'What to buy' Peripherals Thread - Monitors, Mice, Headsets, Keyboards

Get quite a few threads in here asking about monitors and other peripherals which all get very similar answers. I thought I would chuck something up which brings together most of the answers and gets them all in one place. If you think anything should be added, give me the details in a reply and ill add it to the first post.

I would be surprised if its that many. Ive been reading these threads for a while now and pretty much the same recommendations come up each time. Might be a few that we have to add for popular consensus and i guess it will need to be updated over time, but the list was intended to be a good start.

Should bloody well hope that the rat7 is good for that price ^^

A lot (although not all) of this stuff is a bit on the high end of the price brackets.

I thought I had quite a good mix to be honest...

The Creative headset, mx518 and sidewinder x6 are all pretty cheap and are top quality.

also add the sidewinder x4 keybaord as a good budget choice as it performs amazingly and has anti-ghosting and red backlighting.
and add LG Flatron W2253v or W2353V moniotrs as for the price they are just as good as the other monitors mentioned
