    Default Bit of Advice?

So I recently ordered parts for a new rig entirley, which came in yesterday.

After spending a good 4 hours carefully putting everything in, double checking and triple checking thhat everything was plugged where it should be we fired it up.

Yeah.. not what I had expected, A Zapping sound and some smoke is all we got.

We know the PSU is defective and now fired and have to send out for a new one, but Im wondering about everything else.

How will I know if anything else got damage like my GPU or Mobo? Yes I have warranty's on everything but I don't want everything to just crap out a few months from now.

you wont know until to run the computer and see problems, but the death of a power supply can cause problems if it causes surges in other parts.
