Default Getting To PCG Freedom Village

UPDATE: The PCG Village is on the Independence Server, so make sure to choose that option when you are given the choice at the end of the tutorial. If you are unable to select Independence then you should try contacting one of us in the IRC channel.

Now that the non-premium players can move across to Freedom, the spawn point has been moved to a more Central location, right next to Freedom Market: The Howl.

Following is a short (not guaranteed) guide on navigating from The Howl, to the PCG Village. Before you leave, both for your own sake and ours, you probably should do your best to get into the IRC Channel, that way it will be easier to get invited into the village. For instructions on how to do that in many forums, check out the IRC Instructions thread just below this one.

Starting off at the spawn point, you will see a road leading left and right in front of you. You need to take the left path up the hill.

At the top of the hill you will find Freedom Market, as the servers biggest market it well worth a stop, with lots of exciting goodies to be found. Take a right turn out of the market, and you will find a long straight road down the hill.

When you reach the bottom of the hill you will need to do a U turn, then take a right onto a one tile path.

After walking through a small homestead you should take a right turn at a shipyard sign, followed by a left.

At the top you will find a village with a Colossus, take a right turn in front of the village and follow the road along to a zigzag.

After this zigzag there is another right turning, then another as you pass a small homestead.

You should follow the road along past a guard tower, taking a series of turns through the winding road through the forest.

You should reach a crossroads and take a left, following the sign labeled "Samling" (The previous starter town).

Follow this road through a moss field, and down a hill past a (luckily) caged troll.

After passing the caged troll you should continue down the hill and take a right when the road meets a mountain at a T-Junction.

You should then follow this path for a while before taking a left and following a path around a small lake.

Follow the path around the lake before taking a right turn through a settlement with two lava fiend lighthouses, and go up the small hill.

At the top of the hill carefully make your way around a 3x3 off low stone wall, taking care not to fall in (you probably wont be able to get out) the small gap.

Welcome to the biggest steppe in Wurm. Follow the path along the rightish edge of the steppe, before taking a left turn onto the sand bordered road. Yes, it is big.

Follow this path along through the steppe, past a zigzag and round a right bend.

As you reach a small settlement, take a right hill down a ramp, and follow the road into and through a forest.

Eventually you will reach a T-Junction onto a gravel bordered road, you should take a left up the hill, followed by a right onto a road of the villages own creation: Procongo.
