Thats the one I'm gonna buy, it has good reviews. The korean ones are kinda sketchy but their price is so dang appealing idk if I trust their pixel perfect http://www.ebay.com/itm/Perfect-Pixel-New-QNIX-QX2710-LED-Evolution-2-27-2560x1440-PLS-Monitor-Matte-/111073520913?pt=US_Computer_Speakers&hash=item19dc 7f6d11

I just wonder if the price difference it would be worth trying out the QNIX if I got a pixel perfect model and maybe with the square trade warrenty off Ebay. Everyone I talked to says the up to 5 dead pixels is normal with a resolution of 2560x1440....

No, response time is not the important thing. Input lag, which is lower on the HP, is much more important. This is because under 16ms response time is not really noticeable but input lag, especially with shooters, is.

So this would be the best way to go as far as 2560x1440 goes? http://www.amazon.com/HP-ZR2740w-27-inch-Backlit-Monitor/dp/B005MR4P0W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385401269&sr=8-1&keywords=HP+ZR2740w

I haven't kept up with HP for a while, are they as reliable as Asus?

Yeah Ive had a couple HP monitors and theyve all worked great. My current 25" looks awesome and has worked flawlessly for the few years Ive had it. I will probably try to buy HP monitors first from now on.

I am not thinking about getting a monitor just yet. I have a Hanns-G 1920x1200 monitor right now, and its working very well, but if I were to buy a gaming monitor next time around, I will get a 1440p monitor for sure.
