These children are dead. They have been dead for a long time. Utilising these identities has no effect on that one way or the other (if anything, it gives their short and tragic lives meaning).

And yes, parents are stupid (sorry Spats). I've seen parents chastise another parent for doing the very thing that they themselves expect for their own children. Every time I encounter anyone say "As a parent" I immediately think less of them, because they are basically claiming that a parents view is more important than anyone elses. Well Fred West was a parent. Shannon Matthews had a Mum. Do the views of either of these people have greater impact than someone who has no children?
