    Default Whats holding my PC back?

    I was wondering what I needed to upgrade in order to run almost any game currently out at max.

    Processor:AMD fx-6100 six core 3.3ghz
    Motherboard: Asus M5A97
    video card: XFX R7950 3gb (core Edition)
    RAM: 16gb Corsair vengeance (2x8gb)
    Power Supply:Corsair 730w

    too be honest don't really have one, i don't want to go out and buy a new pc though just want to upgrade this

    I mean if you don't want to do a platform change, probably Piledriver would be your best bet. Probably the 8350 would be the best for future proofing unless you are willing to switch to Intel.

    This gaming rig looks good. You could go dual video card if you really wanted to. I was thinking about getting one of those solid state hard drives for boot or the Raptor, but they are quite expensive right now.

    His CPU is a bottleneck and raptor is not worth the money.

    Actually that SHOULD run every game maxed out. The CPU is a bit weak, but nothing that should have trouble with games...

    I get horrible FPS with guild wars 2 maxed out same with far cry 3
