The amazonians suck. :-)
Early game they have a real advantage with the dodge skill. And indeed i performed quite well in my first two games, but i've struggled against any upgraded or special players.
I've wasted chances to gain SP points (easy passing, simple moves etc) and have frankly, been butfucked by the dice.
In hindisght i think i should have gone for a hardier team with a star player who could dodge/sidestep etc, rather than the glass cannons i have now.
I'm slowly getting to grips with the tactics and play styles, however i'm still not positioning my teams well.
that and i hate this game.
Actually the Amazon's are a strong team, you need to get guard and block on most of them and they are formidable with dodge.
A few mistakes you make in our game.
1. You need to know how to cancel assist. Try to place a player in the opponent tackle zone so as to cancel their assist to set up blitz.
2. In the game you used a catcher to blitz my Blitzer who has block and your catcher has only catch I think. It was a 1 die roll and the odds are bad for you.
3. While making a perfect launch and catch gains spp, believe it or not Amazon is not a passing team. They are a bashing team and deploys an open cage concept to move.
By passing unnecessary you risk a turnover and an opportunity for others to score.
This is not a lecture but I hope some of these pointers help, I am not a pro myself too. I think one of the most important thing is learning to position players and setting up assist and cancelling opponent tackle zone

Also a tip press G and N in game. Brings up the grid. Helps in your positioning.
