    Default Building a Desktop Computer

I want to build a Desktop and my price range is between $600-1000. I'd like a computer that can handle games from 2008 and below with the highest video quality. I'm not quite sure what I want.

I know for sure that I want an i7 processor and a few USB 3.0 ports. A HDMI addition for the future is also in the plan.

I'd use the computer for gaming, watching movies, possibly video editing, and coding.

If anyone can help get me started on building a desktop, I would appreciate it.

3770k won't help with anything other than video editing.
