    Default raid report 22/11/12

    On raid:
Goffik, Bullshifter, Pskye, Barker, Wyrmy, Gluggie, Thorilin, Rossferatu, Leegund, Ayumis, Bimble, Jecaa

Stone guard - 1-shot although we lost thorilin within the first 20 seconds and didnt have a battle res.

Feng - took us a while to get him down - kept getting stuck on phase 3, when bad reactions to the arcane vortex screwed us. In the end we had a clean entry into phase3 and it went sodn wuper smooth. Am hoping it was just a quirk as we've not had problems with this guy before.

Garajal - 1-shot. Nice and easy.

Spirit Kings - took 3 attempts, but it's afight that's not too hard to do once everyone realises whats important and what isn't.

Overall a good evening - Pskye Thorilin and Ross hadnt seen all the fights before so it was good to show them what we have down.

Had a bunch of healing stuff drop, and some leather. Also a leatherworking pattern.

Monday it's back to Elgalon - hope eveeryone who hasnt been there yet is reading up so we're fully prepared!

Was a fun raid! I loved the Garajal fight, left me a bit out of breath though. Paladins aoe healing isnt their strong point imo and I only just kept everyone up when I got voodoo dolls twice!

The entire raid though has a great attitude even when struggling on a boss when perhaps we shouldn't, it's great to be a part of!

Was a good raid me thinks,

Everyone thats signed up for Monday it would be useful (if you haven't already) to read up on your own class specific strategy for this fight as its a major step up on the previous 4 bosses.

Areas I suggest to focus on are:

DPS rotation to kill 5 waves of Energy Charges from Elegon's Draw Power ability. This includes Tanks for helping out weaker DPS classes (we might not do 5 but if you know the best way to do 5 you'll be better prepared at least - they get faster each wave)

Max Healing and DPS tips for final burn phase.

The rest of the fight is learning it, which is the fun part

    See you Monday!

For us healers out there. This fight doesnt seem to be our greatest test of skill, its more on the dps but I love this guys videos and it gives some good tips on positioning. It's for 25 man to bit 99% still applies.

I wouldn't be so sure...because you can only take 2 healers, and you're divided for large chunks of the fight (so no cross-healing), it's definitely the hardest healing fight in MSV normal.

Yeah scratch what I said... It's hard as shit!! Although once me and Wyrmy had figured out wataf was going on (many pms were sent) we could handle it way more smoothly. I found the key is not to freak out when the add starts pulsing. Very fun fight.

Also... Draw power is auppoaed to be a regen phase? Lol. Never had to use mana regen trinkets/skills on the other fights so far, on this one I wants them allz!
