The daily deals seem very Indie orientated, much more so than usual. I have my doubts that this list is accurate.

It's possible that the sale could be indie focused. I personally would like to see more savings on the big name titles... I already own a shit-ton of indie games.

I agree. The daily deals is entirely indie, something Steam has never done in any of their Holiday or Summer Sales. Also, they just did an Indie sale not too long ago, it was the Indie Box or something.

From what I can tell, those aren't the daily deals, those are bundles that are going to be refreshed daily. I could be wrong though, theres nothing for certain right now

They've done daily indie bundles alongisde other Daily Deals in the past. It was Christmas '10 I think and had things like the Indie Fright Pack, Indie Flight Pack etc.

As I said before, those are simply the items they had to add to the database in advance of the sale. Individual games or collections that are already in the database don't need to be added, but they are likely to be on sale.

Those aren't the daily deals, they are the indie bundles, of which there is one each day.

Can anyone confirm when the sale actually starts? I've seen July 12 on a few different sites but nothing that looked official.
