Default PCG Tournament - Sign if interested!

There is a tournament in the works, due around the time of the next issue (228) of PCG. We want to get a rough idea of the numbers and who is in which league. So can you complete the poll and post any idea's you have for the tournament below, Rich would love to see them.

EDIT: A reminder that this is only for EU readers!

IMPORTANT EDIT PLEASE READ (Message from Rich McCormick):

Chaps - everyone interested in this, please put your name, bnet code, league, and any times you can definitely, one hundred percent, no-fakesies play in an email and send it to richard.mccormick[at]futurenet.com.

Please title the mail "PCG SCII Tournament", so I don't lose it. Anyone not doing this will make me sad.

Prizes include a StarCraft II comic, and potential other bits and pieces. Look out for a front page announcement at some point, likely after the E3 madness has died down.

    glhf!

I have done, just because it could cause confusion. Still after this tournament we are more than welcome to hold more provided by the community.

Considering that some people are bronze and some people are diamond, i think the best way to do it is to either have 3 different tournaments: bronze & silver, gold & plat, maybe diamond & masters, im not sure. Or you can have it so in the first few matches similary skilled players go up against each other, but as they get higher they vs people from higher leagues? The only problem i see with doing that is, lower league players have almost no chance of winning in the end.

Though it would probably be best to judge this when most of the poll results are in.

EDIT: Just in case it wasn't clear, i definitely want to take part. I'm a diamond protoss ^^

I concur; the separation of leagues is a good idea. And perhaps it could be a 2v3 tournament somehow? It would add to the fun, I think.

Yeah given the disparity in leagues, it might be better to have some degree of separation. Either that or run some kind of King of the Hill style thing, where lower league players try to beat a diamond-ish level player.

That's if we're doing a 1v1 thing, team games should cancel this out somewhat.

Or we could make the diamonds play only using hte keyboard.
    Or blindfolded.
I'l join, but only if, when Congo beats me with his syphallis build, I get to claim that it never happened and that the replay is obviously a photoshopped fake, the attack was an illegal invasion of sovereignty and that I was beaten years ago with kidney failure anyway.
