I still prefer my £400 build cause while once you buy yours your stuck with it, while with mine you can easily upgrade, though I guess it depends on who's doing the buying.
Edit: Stupid me for putting the gpu in the wrong place.

Those are two GTx560 in SLi mind you, so it's not exactly "equivalent". And I could have gotten a cheaper casing, but the HAF X is considered a really excellent casing in term of airflow and cable management. Also I forgot to put the price as well which is RM4198 or £860

Thank you very much sir, and yeah, Newegg's sites (both the Canadian and American version) have been acting up lately, it's not just your browser :/

Aye, I put a different case in so there's more expandability, other than that, excellent.

I use to like making up builds but i often found myself repeating myself so i decided to create this thread to get a general bang for buck rig guide.

There will still undoubtedly be "what kind of rig can i get for X dollars/ pounds" threads.

Just a thought but not every build requires an optical drive. With games all available digitally I don't see it as a requirement.

In fact my latest build does not have an optical drive and so I will be loading windows from a USB

Not really. Remember it fits onto a DVD disk as well; it's less than 4GB.
