Raid report 4/9/11 - Akee come back!
Barkhoof (for Beth'tilac)
Oskrylith (for Baleroc)
Loot: Apportioned in the usual way, meaning Isil got it unless he already had it. And yet until we got the tier token off Cho'gall, Isil had been healing in 346 shoulders. Bizarre.
Leegund initially went with Awesome as they were short a dps/healer. He didn't end up raiding with them as he was saved to Shannox and they didn't actually kill any bosses. Didn't stop them getting a boatload of epics, obviously, some of which they passed on to us.
Barker couldn't stick around long, so after a slightly messy one-shot of Beth'tilac, he stepped out, Osk came in and Isil switched to healing.
We got into the rhythm of the Baleroc fight fairly quickly, but still making little mistakes here and there which would wipe us each time. Again we came agonisingly close at one point (500k hp left, I think). After a while Dreig stepped out for Leegund, who'd been moping outside the instance portal all night, and shortly thereafter we got him down. It wasn't a flawless attempt, but it was a little smoother, and the extra dps and renewed focus gave us a little bit of a buffer and we were able to get him down.
After that we went to BH for some rubbish PvP loot (though at least it wasn't sharded) and Ulthane's Cho'gall lockout where we got some tier shoulders for Isil. I feel a little bad for Cho'gall. It was slightly TOO faceroll.
We'll be short at least Barker and Dudu on Tuesday, so the plan is to do tier 11, or maybe ICC. Though hopefully Akee will be back by then.
