Default Bad subscription offer for EU :/

    Hi,
UK suscribers get 50% in july. Or they get a WoW board game. That's great. But what's about the rest around the island? £70.00 for EU is a lot! No special offers e.g. for students. No gift for 'welcome!'.

I really want to test PC Gamer. But that are really bad conditions for non-UK.

    Moreover I have some questions:
    1. Are there really no special offers? Maybe (hopefully) I am just blind.
    2. How many pages a PCG issue got avagred (circa)?
    3. How punctual are the deliveries to EU (any delay?)?

I just checked for fun and it would cost $150 for me to get the UK mag... haha.

I wish overseas subscriptions were cheaper as I wouldn't mind getting Edge.

The big ways you get screwed are Tax (At least here, where there's massive tax on mags.) And Future fucking about and never updating for proper exchange rates, or setting them wrong in the first place. Then there's postage. Which again they screw around on. If you post things to the North of Ireland for whatever, it doesn't cost so much extra to post them to the Republic.

But the big problem for Americans getting European mags is there's a completely different pricing strategy for mags in the two different places. Mags in Europe make most of their money from people buying the magazine, and less from advertising. Mags in America make most of their money from advertising, so charge less to get their readership rates up and thus charge more for advertising.

But yeah, apart from all that, international people are definitely getting screwed.

I can understand the £70.00 in that way. But what's the reason EU first-subscribers don't get anything else? Like the WoW board game. Or a PC game. Not even a mousepad. There's no incentive to invest the money.

Anyway .. can someone tell me sth about delivery time to germany?
