I have considered using the 5 kiters to 15 stacks method. Not had chance to put it into practice yet though!

It will help out the healers a little but it completely depends on your set.

I thought the obstacle to killing him was the enrage? If you're using 3 healers, 20 stacks shouldn't be anything like dangerous. Using more kiters creates more crushes, which reduces your DPS because everyone gets stunned (plus if you're adding another DPS to the kiting, they'll suffer unless they're a hunter).

By far, the easiest way to increase DPS to beat the enrage is to stick with 3 healers and use a plate DPS in a tanking position.

I hadn't thought of it that way.

My train of thought was replacing a healer with a DPS (2 tanks, 2 healers 6 DPS) would mean more overall DPS, despite the extra stuns. Just as well I didn't try it!

Our DPS was fine and we could beat the enrage but the healers could not keep us up. Non-tanks were being hit by Swipe but we fixed that. The only thing I saw was two healers were being hit with 3 times the damage on Crush compared to the DPS.

Depends from week to week, but the healers to choose from are Shammy, two Priests, and a Pally.

Not sure if we did better when we had Shammy/Priest/Pally group.

I know we were close with 4/5% last week but can't for the life of me remember if Psyke was there (Sorry if you were!).

Edit: He was - maybe Psyke is the key... No pressure (or offence to other healers who all do a bang up job).

Good point. I had not considered the extra downtime. I knew there was a good reason to have fewer kiters
