Team Epic Raid Team Policy
Team Epic is a 10-man raiding team within the PC Gamer UK ('PCG') Guild. Our aim is to tackle the tougher PvE content available.
Team Epic Raids are divided into 90-minute Raid Shifts; there are posted individually on the in-game calendar. The current Team Epic raid shifts are:
You are expected to be online and ready to raid 10 minutes before the start of each shift you are signed for.
Membership of Team Epic is entirely at the Leader's discretion. Membership is only open to PCG members who are willing to commit fully to our aims and who fit within the team dynamic.
Team Epic will maintain a roster of between 12 and 15 players. The leader will keep the roster up-to-date in this forum.
Members are guaranteed at least 3 raid shifts each week (except for weeks where fewer than 6 are posted), and should ideally expect to play at least 4 in most weeks.
Members must sign up, and be available, for at least 4 raid shifts each week. Periods of absence must be agreed in advance with the leader. Failing to sign for 4 shifts or taking unauthorised absence will result in removal from the roster, at the discretion of the leader.
All Team Epic members are expected to keep up-to-date with their class changes, to maximise their performance from the gear available to them, and to have a good understanding of boss mechanics.
Cauldrons will be provided for each raid shift. Each Team Epic member must send 3 Cataclysm-level flasks, of any kind (save for Flowing Water), to the Leader by Sunday each week. Repeated failure to send 3 flasks could result in your suspension from raiding.
Buff food, potions etc. are each member's responsibility, and each member should always bring a large supply.
Each loot drop will be dealt with individually. Loot will be distributed in the way that benefits the team most, which usually means that it will be assigned to the individual to whom it presents the biggest upgrade. It is the responsibility of all members to know their upgrades, and to behave sensibly with loot. Where it is not clear who will benefit most, a /roll will decide.
Bind-on-Equip items will be distributed in the same way, amongst the whole of Team Epic. If it does not present an upgrade to anyone in Team Epic, it will be offered to another PCG raider of the Team's choice. If that is not available, then it will be sold and the proceeds used to benefit the Team.
It is in the interests of the team to have access to all necessary raiding crafts. To this end, top-level crafters will be assigned from amongst the members, and the rest of the team will support them.
Progression raiding demands that the team gears up and progresses together. It is therefore in everyone's benefit that, in any circumstance, the overall benefit to the team is paramount.
