Yeah, it's a great tool. The same one from Petopia's forum.

Not sure if you've seen kripparrian's video yet but he's pretty much confirmed what i thought.

Haste > Crit

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh-mzsyrNhE

As for pets, i'd seriously consider taking at least 1 raptor ALL the time, as you can keep sunder armor up when warriors can't.

(EG bone storm, Putricide HC transitions, LK transitions, that sort of thing)

OK interesting on the Haste. I'd spotted the Eng stacking but was keeping quiet in case it was a glitch - lol. Scrolls on pets - v interesting.

I was going for the serpent instead of the raptor as their armor debuff is ranged - 30 yds...

cheers

Zig

Edit: love the 2nd comment on Krip's video:

I was on phone with my GF when i saw that you have new video...i hang up on her and pressed play

Nice spot Del. I'd actually stopped checking Kripp's page as he hadn't posted anything decent for ages

As for the message in the video, indeed Kripp states haste > crit.

He goes a little further tho: Mastery > Haste > Crit (this is not really new information, read on....)

You probably picked this up, but there's a subtle difference between what he says here and what I've read elsewhere. He says COMPLETELY max out your mastery. Since he says haste > crit, I assume he means completely reforge crit into mastery. I've noticed the Wild Quiver proc is providing a massive amount of PASSIVE extra damage though. Tentavively, I'd say around 10-15% of total damage and Chewwie's mastery is low, tbh.

Kripparrian is mustard and appears to have really done his homework, so I'll play around with his advice. One thing that makes me sceptical of the APPLICATION of his advice to ALL hunters: he plays in full BiS gear. No-one in PCG does. We'll have to drop below 50% crit to do what he's saying. Without the aid of a SIM, I'm unsure of the effect of the different stats weightings at different levels. I'll give it a go though, for sure. Cheers for posting that Del!

Kripparrian also has a hunter alt in significantly worse gear so i'm sure he's done the maths for that one too:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Ysondre&cn=Kripp

And yeah i did notice he said Mastery > Haste but 99% of ICC gear has a mix of haste and crit so unless you have something like war token you have no haste left to reforge :P (you only have your rings for example)

Also thanks for telling me the serpent has a ranged sunder, i'll go and pick one up now :P

Yeah, it that char does have worse gear. However, he's not set any talents and his gemming (and bow enchant) doesn't follow his advice as yet, so I'll have to dismiss it for the moment. Either way, I'll be trying his advice out

Just out interest Del (and as a point of reference) would you mind posting your stats? I'd like to use them as a referrence point for what levels to aim for, perhaps!
