Either-way that's my next upgrade as well...Thinking about dropping some money once something solid with DDR 4 becomes available. **secretly waiting for AMD to catch up still **
First thing that will support DDR4 will probably be Haswell-E later this year. The 8 core will cost $1000 from the rumors though.

Not to mention the cost of the board...hopefully they have one cheaper for release come late 2015 as that's when I plan on upgrading my chip-set.

I dont think Im CPU limited. Im still hitting 100% GPU usage in those games and my benchmarks are on par with what Im seeing on review site's GTX670 benchmarks using i7's so I think my aging 8150 is still up to the task. A 8350 might be in my future though. Itll be a ~15% increase clock for clock so drop one of those in for $170 and then a $400 R9 290 and Id have major performance bump. I thought about going all out and jumping on the Haswell refresh next month but I would get a significantly bigger increase in my gaming performance by just sticking with my FX powered rig and dumping all my spare cash into a bad ass GPU upgrade.

Just bought a shiny new EVGA SuperNova G2 750 thatll be here Wednesday so I need something to tax it.
