Either way, Its yet another example of the standards that you think should apply to other people, which you merrily exempt yourself from.

Yes jobs are easy to come by the problem is the mordern world people want MEGA bucks but dont want to work for it just pop down the joc centre there is thousands of jobs on offer its the fact that people see menial jobs as below them.

You need to skin them (there's a neat trick where you can effectively pull them inside out), and then quarter them with a big cleaver.

Wash and rub the quarters in salt and pepper.

    Cover in flour (with paprika),
    egg (with chilli flakes)
and then breakcrumbs (with salt and pepper).

Repeat twice to get a loverly coating- then shallow fry for 10 min, before finishing off in the oven.

Loverly jubbly- perfrect with some home-made wedges and a cider.

just say the dog got at them.... tis what spaniels were bred for after all.......
Ahh, but as pets go rabbits are cheaper, easier to look after and more environmentally freindly than dogs. So its the dog that should be for the pot!

Thank god for that. If this physics thing doesn't work out I can sleep happy knowing I can devote my life to stacking shelves.

not entirely true, 90% of the jobs posted in the job centre are from agencies, who don't have the job they are advertising and just want people to sign up so they can claim money from the government.

once you filter out all those agency jobs that don't exist your generally left with a small number of jobs that require lots of experience or specialist skills/qualification.

stacking shelves would be fine if supermarkets didn't have nearly everyone on 16-20 hour contracts with very little overtime available. in most cases to work in a supermarket you need a second job or someone supporting you.

Not forgetting that, apparently each entry level job has approximately 40 people applying for it. Even allowing for a few "have to give crap application to continue to receive benefits", thats still a hell of a deficit in the jobs available, people needing them categories.

Any minimum wage job requires financial support from somewhere. Quite frankly even if you could work endless overtime that is still not acceptable. You should be bale to make enough money and have a good work/life balance.

Something else that bugs me is that even getting qualifications doesn't always help your job prospects. Good luck applying for a graduate science job if you have a Phd.

you can live on minimum wage with a bit of planning and thought, but realistically there are very few jobs that can let you have everything you want and money left over, hell up here a lot of people 15 grand a year as good pay, but it won't get you far with a house and a car.

Self employed is the way to go if you can afford to get up and running. Never get rich working for someone else. That being said I am used to being poor so can get by either way.
