    Question Low budget gaming

Hi, i am new here, i am looking for a PC (a laptop by preference but a desktop is also an option if worth it), i am not looking for a pc to play games such as Battlefield 3 in high resolution, i know that this is over my budget, i would like to spend arround 500 USD at the most. I would like to play some old games such as TES4 Oblivion, some sport games like FIFA 12, NBA 2K or PES, MMORPG like Diablo 3, torchlight 2, Fable 3, and if possible even in low settings recents games like dead island, sleeping dogs. I have seen laptops such as the HP envy M6-1125dx with intel core 3rd gen i5 and Intel hd graphics 4000, an HP G6-2123us with AMD A6-4400M and radeon hd7520g or the Hp G4-2235dx with same processor and GPU but windows 8. So what do you think guys? should i go for an intel 3rd gen (i think the i7 is over-budget) with an hd graphics 4000 or AMD? if AMD a dual core (AMD A6 series) or a quad core (AMD A8 series) i have seen that some games would work better with the dual core. Thank you for your help, do not hesitate to mention other machines, even desktop, maximum budget would be arround 500 USD for both laptop or desktop (but with keyboard, hd screen)
