Default New Gaming Desktop Build? Any good ones?

Hey everyone, I am earning up some money for a better computer to game on, and i would rather it be a desktop because its cheaper and better.

I was just wondering if anyone had any good builds that were about $500? Only for the comp not monitor or keyboard. I do plan on hand building this myself! Thanks!

I would prefer it to have an AMD processor, at least dual core and 3.2ghz
About 8 gigs of RAM and 1 Tb of hard drive space. At least 1 gig Dedicated Graphics card and all the other essentials.
