Default Brickrunner

I read about this game in this forum, but I think it is deleted Whatever...

I found yesterday new video from game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3gDECTYAoc

I played in 0.1 version in multiplayer (free to download on Brickrunner's site or torrent web), but 0.2 looks much better

Does this game that you 'found' actually have anything original about it? Just curious since the video looks just like the 2D Minecraft mod that some guy made. We get it, Terraria and Minecraft are popular so people are going to want to jump on the bandwagon but if your game offers nothing that you cannot already get from playing either one of them games then you should probably reconsider your game idea. Oh, and creating alt forum accounts to reply to your own thread makes you look pretty desperate.

I agree with acroman. This feels just like teraria, and that's a waste of programming hours. I've seen before brick games, but they had something original in them, like that one, that you use minions to gather resources, or to build. The bad thing isn't that it has the same principles as terraria or minecraft, the bad thing is that it FEELS the same.

On Friday, will be published next update version 0.2, and in two weeks will be available completely new version with a second layer of bricks (as there will be trees and things like chairs, tables, lifts, etc.) and above all, the multiplayer mode and map generator. In the future, developers promise mining, crafting, RPG elements (XP, skill points) and many more surprises ...

If all developers promises will be in the game, it will be a hit comparable to Terraria and Minecraft for me.

And I hope this game will be much better than Terraria. It's only question of time

I think I could have more fun playing Lode Runner again.

Now the developers working on dynamic lights. You will have to discover the caves with torches...

They will add new resources and items (real minig and crafting), character leveling and enemies in near future.

More about Brickrunner you could find on http://www.brickrunner.com

What do you think about this project. I'm sure it looks better than Terraria, but I hope it will be at least equally playable.

I'm sure we could dig through the game archives and claim minecraft and terraria ripped off games that came before them.
