This video shows one tank has two lions all fight and the other has one might make things easier for dps and and the switching maybe worth looking at.
It also means both tanks need to taunt. Which tends to not work that well for some reason

Getting chained to a mele who is determined to keep DPSing the boss is pretty terrible as a healer. if only lifegrip had a shorter cooldown.

My LFR group did it that way perfectly swapping 2 each time every 30 secs, I know LFR is easier and you can just stack them but they did double swaps no problem so unless taunt is easier on Window licker mode we can do it if we want.

Tbh it isn't hard either way as a ranged dps, just might be better for melee as they don't have to wade through all the crud we leave in between them .

most likely the 2 tanks knew each other, but really the melee running from side to side isn't a problem as there isn't a real enrage. this is the same as melee running off to hit the boss (not that being rooted should matter this week) there is no need as your only limiting factor is how long the healers can keep up the healing.

It's nothing to do with an enrage but more about minimising damage to save healers mana from the pitfalls of crossing sides often with crap on the floor and chained people getting to far apart, etc.

We were making good progress anyway swaping sides so I expect we'll just continue that way.

Cobalt is the hardest to deal with on any setup. U should aim to get the boss down before the enrage, forgot how long it is but if ur not getting it down within 9minutes or so tell ur dps to kick it up a notch.

Jasper, jade, ameth is the easiest combo by far as the raid dmg is tiny.

If ur stuck with Jasper, ameth, cobalt it can be tricky with breaking the chains on Jasper petrify.

Its all about awareness and ur dps as ur healers will be focusing mainly on tank and chain dmg and if ur taking avoidable dmg which most of it is, slap them

Good luck peeps! U will get it!!

Yeah it was the Jasper, ameth, cobalt combo that was up last week. This week is the easier Jasper, jade, ameth combo
Though personally I would have thought Jasper, jade, cobalt would be the easiest combo as you get 3 seconds to run out of cobalt and can clear them unlike amethyst pools. But I guess the freeze is the bad part of the cobalt mines.

The problem with Cobalt, really, is that it lengthens the journey for Chained players to get together, which results in large damage spikes.

Oh well, no cobalt this week!

Give ur pally or shadow priest some gold to use shield or dispersion to clear the room if it gets sketchy!

I noticed the difficulty drop massivly when we didn't have cobolt, face roll with out it

One thing I also noticed is that a mage can blink into the trap and not get frozen. He still takes the damage though, so be careful
