I don't have a good suggestion, but, i have an counter-suggestion. Don't consider Resident Evil 5. It's annoying, not scarry, horible inventory, un-captivating storyline. Although it might be classified as one, that's not a horror game. Stay away from it.

Resident Evil 5 can be an interesting title if you're a follower of the Resident Evil series. But if you're not, it's highly worth the miss. Have a look into what the previous guy said: Left 4 dead 1-2 and Killing Floor. Both are excellent titles and are also directed more towards co-op gaming, rather than single-player gaming.

I am interested in RE series, but i don't like RE5. I really really really really! hope re6 doesn't do the same crap as RE5. A return to RE4 athmosphere would be just extraordinary!

RE6 is a bit worse than RE5 - at least to me. RE5 kept the same game play as RE4, but kinda brought it to a slightly less ideal location. RE6 seems to have that old atmosphere back, but it's brought a very COD-like game style. You may like it, but that COD-style ruins it for me - at least.

Either way, nice to see someone who is interested in the RE series!
