Yay , though I'm guessing I wont get in for weeks

Also, apparently, PCGamer keys don't get a priority

PCG keys are priority, just they are under priority of people who are players from the original game

Yeah, thats what I thought...but I was on planetside-universe and there was a thread there that had various quotes from devs saying that pcgamer keys were not a priority...have been trying to find a link, but can't seem to find it.

I've just subscribed to ps1 in the hope that I will be flagged as an active subscriber. Hopefully that'll happen, if not - atleast I get to play ps1 till I get in

nah, it just means that Planetside 1 vets are getting in before PCG people. but E3 people and random twitter giveaways are behind us

nubs they prob have a check in place where you had to be active before a certain date or everyone would do it.

as for the key priorities, the main post on the beta listed the PCG keys as after the vet keys but before the E3/Dev keys, so from that it seems the PCG keys are second priority, but even then it depends how many people they take each wave and how many vets actually applied for the beta. (since they still had to do the application bollocks)

Though this doesnt directly answer the question, it is somewhat worrying:

How long do you think it will take (if everything goes as planned) for everyone who has twitter/PC gamer keys to get in the beta?

maybe as long as 2-3 weeks but it depends on how smoothly things go

different to what i was reading..

maybe he just meant twitter was 2 weeks. to be honest, it does make sense though, Week 0 (already in) are big vets, Week 1 are current subs and then old subs, Week 2 are PCG and E3, and Week 3 are Twitter.

there are a huge load more Twitter keys than there are PCG&E3 ones.. all you had to do was ask and you'd be in

the people who are in so far are a mix from all the different sources as it was done purely on your hardware setup.

then the vets will get in over time, they have said they aren't going to let them all on in one go, so you have to assume there will be several waves of invites from active then inactive vets, once these waves are done they will move onto the PCG keys letting people on in several waves, then the E3 and Dev keys will get in as they are the 3 main priorities, then after that it will be anything else.

so in actual fact it could take several weeks to get through all the vet invites and onto the beta then another few weeks to get all the PCG keys in, so it could end up being a while, you have to remember the beta will be done over several months then after the priority keys are in it will start to move into the open beta where they will just be stress testing.
