Default Kickstarter for an alternative Steam Cloud service (5 days left!)

Hey all, I'm trying to spread the word about my Kickstarter project for saving your PC games on the cloud.

Here's the link:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2116167676/gamestow-save-your-pc-games-on-the-cloud

Essentially, it's a simple way to backup/sync your game saves for games with no Steam Cloud support. It uses its own cloud storage servers made specifically for storing game saves. And best of all, you can download your save files from the website at anytime (unlike Steam Cloud).

You can actually create a temporary account now and check it out for yourself. We're currently at 91% and only need a few more pledges to get funded. So if you like what you see please feel free to pledge a couple of dollars and help us reach the goal.

Thanks for checking it out!

Or you could just download GameSave Manager ( http://www.gamesave-manager.com/ ) and upload them to any cloud service (Dropbox, personal webspace, website you might own etc)...

:-)

I've checked out GSM and it's a great tool, but this project is very different.

We have our own cloud storage servers and you won't need to signup for Dropbox or any 3rd party storage solutions. This means you won't have to worry about running out of space for your game saves if you use your Dropbox account for other files. We believe game saves should be separate from everything else. Also, our interface is very simple and intuitive.

Don't knock it till you try it!
