World of Goo is defiantly in my top 10. The fun game mechanic, epic music and its satirical writing and story was great.

It's based on opinions at the time. There are many games I love one year and love another game more the next.

I used to get irritated by these lists, but I've grown to accept the fact that they no longer make any attempt at accuracy and simply try to generate traffic with controversy.

    Well done.

    That would be Dirt 3.

Ah, my mistake, sorry, the first post was talking about the UK 100, so I assumed they all were.

Spot 70 is still pretty damn low consider BG2 is still considered to be one of the best RPGs out there. But yeah, screw top 100. Their value is practically zero except to boost magazine sales.

Just like FourFourTwo's top 100 players (that are currently playing football) list, there's always going to be choices that make you scratch your head in confusion.

I am disappoint... 3 of the most overrated and overhyped games of all times (Skyrim, Team Fortress 2 and World of Warcraft) spearheading the list instead of classics like Baldur's Gate or Deus Ex...
I didn't expect it to resemble "Top 10 Music Charts" so much...

I'm going to spin some mod magic, and separate the threads talking about the US top 100 into their own thread for clarity, so from now onwards this shall be the UK thread, and the other shall be the US one. Hopefully this'll help everyone!
