Default Can a fellow noob join?

I have yet to buy the game or anything however I can't help but see this game on blast EVERYWHERE!!!

I love MMO's and so why the hell not get another, was wondering once I get it, how do I go about joining the guild? Do I just whisper one of you or something? And re there any requirements? I didn't see any on the info on the first post.

    Thanks!

Whisper Sepp, tell him you admire his ample posterior and he'll let you in and be your friend forever.

    With hugs and everything.

I've added a "How to join the guild" section to the op. That should make things clearer for new and old MMO players

Just joined with my fresh Smuggler, alas my chat seems to be broken. I can see things I send to General or Whispers I've sent - but nothing else. >.<

Edit; Found this thread on the official forums that suggests I need to use /gquit and get re-invited to fix it. Someone suggested it's a flagging problem. Hopefully can try this tomorrow.

Simply whisper Ashara saying how much you hate grimgraf and you're in.

I've got exactly the opposite - I can see general chat but nothing from the guild... I'll try quitting and getting re invited.

EDIT - yup worked for me... I'm back in the guild... and the first thing I did to celebrate is log out so I could sleep.... I'm L20 now so i'll be joining you all on the PVP circuit... just need someone to teach me how not to pass the ball..!!

Not passing the ball is an art form.

A lot of the people in Huttball have this down to a tee.

Take care to pay special attention to those who stand in the middle when they have the ball and proceed to do absolutely nothing until they die.

But the one that takes the most work, and be sure to watch these ones closely so you too can irritate every PvP healer you meet.

Get the ball, hurtle towards the pack of players from the opposite team and then remember, this is the important part, remember to hurl abuse at your healers for not keeping you alive as all 8 of the opposition practice the Riverdance on your face.

Because every healer knows, a players stupidity is always our fault.

An important one for the Alderaan warzone as well.

Be sure to leave 1 person (usually me on my bloody own unless Cart and Ash are in) defending the left or right beacon while the rest of the team takes it in turns to try and solo the middle where all 8 of their players are.

It's important you go one at time, 2 of you against 8 is unfair, it means they have to work for an extra couple of seconds and we want to make this easy on them.

But never go for the undefended side, oh no, stick to the middle. We wouldn't want to have to make the opposite team move now would we.

And make sure to never help the solo Commando crying in vain for help as 3 sorcs and an agent get bored of the middle and decide to take his beacon as well.

Not that i'm bitter or anything :P

You want some salt for that chip on your shoulder?

But I sympathise with you. A healers' job can be a thankless task at times.
