    Default Leader's Report

    Tonight's Epiccers:

    Cenaria
    Darieth
    Xarvoz

    Urumqi
    Danatheron

    Contagion
    Darksen
    Sisy
    Vulture
    Slashgordon
    Foosfighting

Bosses killed: Halfus, Valiona & Theralion, Council, Cho'Gall, Omnitron, Magmaw, Maloriak, Atramedes

Xarvoz's first night was a rather leather-heavy lootfest, with a few nice upgrades for him and the rest of us. We did try Halfus hc, but it was pretty obvious that having a healer in blues and a tank in offspec wasn't ideal. Decided to just farm normal, which was the usual one-shot. No real trouble on the bosses, and Xarvoz did very well to 2-heal Cho'Gall with me; it only took us 2 attempts to down him! (can't belive I didn't get sodding ranked)

Xarvoz is now an official Epiccer, so welcome to him. Koldof has asked about becoming our third tank; I've decided we'll get him in for Conclave and Chimaeron on Monday, and if that works out OK he can do some of the earlier bosses next Wednesday, too.

I'm not too worried about replacing Zerne so fast. There's still the hope that Chewwie will return, and whilst we're raiding twice a week, attendence SHOULDN'T be a problem, as long as almost everyone always turns up.

Monday is Conclave, Al'Akir, Chimaeron and Nefarian.

So I passed my probation? Sweeeet! Thanks for the welcome Darieth.

It was great fun guys, great raid! Managed to get a couple of upgrades and thanks to the A-team style attempt to get the mats for the chest, its now complete, shiney and fits snugly.

I should have my rep neck piece by Monday (fingers crossed) and maybe a tier piece as well (1550 valour points at the mo). Looking forward to Mondays run, see you there guys.

Nothing like throwing me into the deep end eh Dar? Sink or swim boy... sink or swim! lol

And you thought I was kidding about 2-healing Cho'Gall with me :-p

If I were you, I'd get other valour point pieces first. You've got an epic chest now, and already have epic gloves and legs, so any tier piece you bought would just be trading an epic for an Epic.

I would get the trinket personally, as there's a nice cape off Valiona (an easy boss near the start of the instance) and you've got the epic boots now too.

Great raid last night, i don think it will be too long before we are back up to force.

On a dubiously related note, I am off to London for my stag do this weekend, so if i dont make it on monday night, please check the lamp posts outside your local train station for a tied up naked orc.

    Cheers,
    Uru.
