    Exclamation New to PC gaming

I have always been a huge console gamer and have always wanted to buy a gaming pc. I do a lot of traveling for work and that leaves me little time for my gaming hobbies. So I saved up some cash and bought the Asus G46VW. I'm not one that absolutely needs to have the best graphics on ultra settings, just as long as it looks good and doesn't lag or drop out on me. My question is...how long exactly will this laptop last me before all the future games require bigger and better requirements? I absolutely love this laptop and can play Battlefield 3 on ultra with little to no problems. Like I said I am new to the PC gaming scene and would like some advice on how long my rig will last. Thank you!
