    Default PC Gaming

Just curious where did you all learn about building pc's etc I am the only one of my friends that plays pc games. This makes it difficult to learn also I am from Ireland and there are no local pc gaming stores in my town.

I made the huge mistake of buying an alienware because I can't build a pc myself it would be great if I had some friends, or a local store that could help in building etc how did you guys learn so much?

Well I have an alienware and I know it was huge mistake now buying it just curious if you were to build a pc with i7 930 processor, 6gb ram, and an ati radeon 5970 how much would it have cost to do it myself? I bought it 3 years ago.

Read around places like anandtech and OC3D, as mentioned above, videos are good to watch. My personal favourites are Linus Tech Tips (he has a nice cat) and TTL from OC3D.

There are loads of these types of youtube channels and most have forums where you can keep up to date with tech news and see build logs/reviews/discussions on current tech.
