Hiya! I moved your thread, as it doesn't really belong in the 'IMPORTANT: Read this first' section. I'll try to give you a few honest answers, althought you seem a bit down on WoW or you must have just had a bad experience in the short time you tried SWC. There's usually 60-100 guildies online since the release of Cata.
RP realm rules require people to use names of a 'fantasy' origin. That said, not all of my chars meet that requirement and not everyone uses a strictly RP name. I have only once been asked to change a char name. It's an RP realm, no getting past that really.
SWC is a fairly low pop server. The economy is terribad. That said, I would laugh at the suggestion that anyone would leave the server and PCG guild behind for that reason alone. Anything and everything that goes on in guild masks or hides any server related problems imo. There's always tons of people on when I'm online. Epsecially Sundays. Maybe that's just me, but in my experience PCG pretty much caters for everything that the server poplation lacks. However, I've never really played seriously on any other realm. It maybe different for you.
I've never used WoW Vault. Wowhead is an amazing source of info. Thotbott not so much. Wowhead usually gives me everything I need info wise. Beyond that, a google search never fails. Just think about the way you phrase the entries and the keywords you use.
