Morinaka's Deed Build
I'm a PCG ally and ex-villager who has just built a deed near PCG, thought i'd share my build with everyone to show what you can do in wurm.
I don't have a good before shot, but it was basically a slope, i had to raise the path up and dig out the remaining slope, i bought an enchanted shovel to make this quicker and i also got some help from a new villager Alfie with all the digging.
By the way the forum is limited to 4 images per post, so this is done in multiple replies, lame.
Here's the earliest one i had, i've raised the ground, flattened the first part of the deed. Still have to dig out that hill.
Dug out the first stage of the first half. I decided to dig out the hill into flat/slope pattern to make it easier to dig it out properly later, that way i wouldn't be digging on steep slopes using climb.
The other half dug in to the slope/flat pattern, a lot of dirt piling up, luckily people need dirt :)
Time to start digging from the top down, Alfie helping out here as well, can see PCG in the distance.
First slope section dug out, each 1x19 strip is about 780 dirt to dig up.
Half of the section below that dug out now.
Took a bit of a break and decide to build some path.
I wanted my new house on a raised area so i laid the plan (3x4) and dug out the dirt around it.
At last! The dirt is all dug up. Decided to finish paving the area and put in 2 ornate fountains. Re-positioned my lamps as well.
Added a wemp field, and some cedars.
Thought i'd better get to work on the stone house, 280 stones bricks and 280 mortar needed :)
Added a brick to each wall to get the roof on. Also did one rear wall.
Adding bricks to the walls, one of many.
Pretty much finished, all the walls done, added cedars and flowers to the front, 2 wemp fields.
I'm going to add fences at a later date, probably when iron ones become available.
Not the best build log but i hope it shows what you can do with a bit of hard work in Wurm.
Not sure on the exact figure but i know it was between 5000-6000 dirt dug up, used half of that to make a 5x5 island with a love tile on it.
Nice work Morin! That looks amazing :D
:D That is absolutely amazing. Also, if you upload your images to a site like photobucket, you can just put the IMG tags and IIRC those are unlimited.
I was using img tags, all these images are on my flickr account, but you can't use more than 3 img tags per post it seems, even though it says you can use 4
Its looking good, grats
