It also shows off some of the coolest spells in the game so be sure to check it out!

The Sims: Medieval announced
EA just took the wraps off of a new Sims game set in the olden days of swords and sorcery. It’s not an expansion to The Sims 3 that transplants your suburban pet people into fantasy land, but it’s own stand-alone thing with kings, castles, knights, wizards, quests and more. We’ll have a full preview coming in the upcoming issue of PC Gamer, so keep an eye out.

Adorable Korean children pledge allegiance to Protoss army
Gaming sponsorship is big in Korea. We’ve already seen Korean Air’s blue-hued Terran airplanes, now through the copyright-infringing wonder of YouTube we get a glance into one of the company’s first post-launch commercials featuring StarCraft 2. In it, little Joonhyuk reveals his dream to become a dangerous Protoss psionic assassin during show and tell. Video within.

Subversion looks incredible. The Mission Impossible simulator from British indies Introversion has been in development for a long time, but it’s now rapidly taking shape. Chris Delay has just updated his development blog with the twentieth report of the game’s progress, highlighting the game’s cool-looking dynamic audio system. Check below the fold for the latest video.
Get Modern Warfare 2′s soldiers into Left 4 Dead 2
This is pretty cool. It’s a mod for Left 4 Dead 2 that replaces everyone with soldiers from Modern Warfare 2.
Update: Here’s quite an absurdly funny video of me playing with the skins.
All hail the giant Dreadnought case mod
I have seen a computer with an autobot face that read out the BIOS in a robo-voice once, but I’ve never seen a case mod that was bigger than my desk, and with more guns than my gun desk. Introducing the only Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Dreadnought that can actually run Dawn of War:
July 28: a day of glory for PC gamers
In response to the heroic tale of two Hawaiian PC gamers fending off an attempted robbery, former PCG US Editor-in-Chief Dan Morris came out of seclusion to issue this proclamation:
I hereby declare July 28 a “day of glory” for all PC gamers, to be observed annually with great fanfare and pride. For this was the day that we fought back against oppression and delivered a historic triumph for our kind.
It’s my sincere hope that Devin Wolery, Dylan Hays, and the other heroes of Kaneohe can be profiled in the pages of PC Gamer at the earliest available opportunity. And may this august magazine bestow full and appropriate honors upon these great revolutionaries.
Let us all learn to pronounce and spell “Kaneohe,” and utter it with stoic voice whenever and wherever the dignity and valor of PC gamers are impugned.

Editor-in-Chief (Ret.)
