I just wanted to say that I 100% agree with Andy about Monkey Island 2.

I've played a lot of adventure games (from King's Quest back in the day to more modern ones like Dreamfall), and Monkey Island 2 is the most frustrating one for me. I had to use hints many times to get through. My fiancee loved the first game but didn't even want to finish this one, because she got so frustrated. I still want to keep going through the games with her, but this one left her with a bad taste. The humor, setting, and graphics are still great, but the puzzles are unnecessarily difficult.

When a company goes out of business, the first thing that happens is that little extras begin to disappear - like fixing things. Watch for any further delays or errors in the podcast. If you see them, it looks like PCG is on its way out - just like many other magazines. These types of errors show that it may not be a safe time to subscribe.

@ Pugnate, That really surprises me, I would have thought that ME2 would do way better than DAO. I guess you've got to take into account the fact that DAO is on PS3 as well but even so 1.6 on PC and 360 is pretty poor.

Lord Uber Dowzen, a simple Google search would have cleared your confusion.

Those are both cross platform numbers.

DA 3.2 million on all platforms with PC apparently the leader in sales.

ME2 is 1.6 million ACROSS platforms, and not PC.

It is not a good idea to record a podcast and 3 days later still no download link.

Fix the RSS feed, or add a direct download, but this is pure laziness, you want to make an place online, you need to understand that this is a two way channel, not a magazine, read the comments and answer to the feedback, like the one that is saying that the podcast is not posted to download.

@mutant_squid: until they get the RSS fixed, you can still get it into your IPod. There's probably an easier way, but what I'm doing is downloading the podcast, running ITunes, and doing File -> Add to Library, which gets it into the ITunes Music folder. Then I can drag it to my IPod, where it ends up as "Music".

Not the most convenient thing but it does work.

LAN PWATEE! yess. Hopefully SC2 will be at my house by that time (I pre-ordered online.) Also, Alien Swarm looks like it has some sweet multi-player.

And Robert, excellent job hosting.

I found the 'war tapes' setting was a little aggressive embracing the distortion of the low frequency sound effects. I prefer the oh so clean 'hi-fi' setting. It's like Dr Pepper for the ears.

@ Pugnate, The Gamasutra article (as far as I can tell doesn't say if that's across all platforms or just the PC whereas the ME2 one is for PC only. Wow, I'm pretty amazed the ME2 sold 1.6 million on PC alone, that's pretty impressive for any PC game.

I've only listened to the first half of the Podcast but I've got 2 points so far:

1) Robert's a really good host.

2) Your Dragon Age II discussion was interesting but I've got some things I need to mention. Firstly, you last name in Origins was pre-set based on your background (e.g. Human Nobles were always called Cousland) so the only real difference this time around is that there are no origin stories.

Secondly, you said that you start over with a new character in Awakening. WRONG!!! You can start as a new character, but you can also import your Origins Warden over and parts of the module will change based on your choices. I think having a new character in DAII could actually make the game save transfer system work better as, if the consequences are as minor as they were in Mass Effect 2, it might not seem so weird if the consequences are affecting a someone in an entirely different part of the world.
