http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=015-P3-1485-AR&family=GeForce%20400%20Series%20Family

Just pulled the trigger on this bad boy, I was going to get the watercooled 470 but with EVGA's lifetime warranty I decided to take the money I was gonna spend on a pump/radiator/etc and just get this beast. With 9 fans I figure the ole 1200 can keep it from combustion.

(Chose Nvidia for better AA performance at medium resolutions, and at $520 it was far cheaper than the 5970 and I am a single graphics card guy)

the 470 is really the only card from nvidia right now that makes sense to buy but factory overclocked cards are always overpriced

right now my 5770 is enough

I just bought a ATI 5770 for my new PC. The main reasons being a good price, and the fact that it doesn't use as much power as most of the equivalent Nvidia cards (I have 530W PSU salvaged from my last PC), and I'm very happy with it's performance in all the games I've tried so far.

I see no reason for me to think about getting an Nvidia card right now, I don't even find the idea of PhysX or 3D that enticing to be honest.

I'll stick with my ATI HD5770, my last GPU was an nVidia and it crapped out on me, it was dust-free and overheated with two 120mm fans blowing air at it.
